"I'm Gina, Nutrition and Wellness Health Coach at Simply Balanced with Gina, as well as a fitness instructor and mother of three little girls. My mission is to educate and empower individuals to support themselves through foundational health for long-term well-being. I work closely with women and corporate groups to redefine health by helping them release restrictive mindsets and debunk misconceptions surrounding wellness. Together, we strive to find a balanced approach to food, movement, and mindset, guiding them toward feeling and looking their best inside and out. My goal is to inspire a healthy lifestyle and serve as a positive role model for my family and others.


Growing up people often commented on my size. This led to an irrational relationship with food and an unhealthy relationship with myself. But looking back now I realize that it might be what has gotten me to where I am today. If only I knew then what I know now about balance, understanding my body and making smart food and lifestyle choices I could've avoided all of the crazy diets, calorie counting, point counting, hours at the gym, deprivation, self-loathing, tears...the list is endless. 


It's all about finding what works for YOU!

After experiencing feelings of defeat and loneliness during a year-long struggle with conception and pregnancy loss, I knew it was time for a change. Feeling like I was going about things all wrong, the universe seemed to guide me toward a future in nutrition. Taking a leap of faith, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. The program not only fascinated me but also inspired me to implement its teachings in my own life. Witnessing my own transformation unfold, I realized the profound impact of self-acceptance and healing. This journey reaffirmed my calling, and I felt compelled to share my newfound knowledge and support others on their paths to wellness.

I became pregnant with my first baby girl a few months into my program after what seemed like a hopeless, endless struggle and felt better about myself inside and out than ever before. I often wonder if I have IIN to thank for her. Two and a half years later I was blessed with another little girl and another two and a half years after that, my third, you guessed girl entered our crazy life! Teaching them the importance of nourishing and moving their bodies and a love of cooking is a top priority. I hope to set a positive example and teach them to have a healthy relationship with food and themselves. 

There are so many misconceptions out there about what's "healthy" and what's not. My goal is to help others make smart choices that will lead to lifelong health and balance while building greater confidence within. Really, you can't heal what's on the outside until you feel complete on the inside. And it's not just the foods we eat. There is so much more that goes into finding that balance!

To say that becoming a Health Coach has been life-changing may sound dramatic or cliche, but for the first time in my life I felt free, like a dark cloud had been lifted and that I could finally start living my life. Take that first step to finding your own happiness.
