Candied Walnuts
Prep Time: 15 mins Baking Time: 0 mins
My first year of teaching I was given Candied Walnuts as a gift from a family with a recipe attached. They were soooo good & I began making them for everyone & bringing to Christmas parties.
I've since lost the recipe, but I created a new one & they unfortunately are super addicting! But they are a fun & festive treat for a holiday party or a great little pick me up when you just need something sweet!
Ingredients

1 c walnuts halved, not chopped
-
1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
2 tsp coconut or organic brown sugar
-

-
nutmeg or pumpkin spice works well
