Blueberry Oat Crumble

Prep Time: 15 mins   Baking Time: ~20-25 mins

I cannot take complete credit for this recipe...before I knew about the save feature on Instagram, I would screenshot delicious recipes I wanted to try. But the screenshot would often leave out important information like, what the recipe was actually for or who it was by!

Anyway, I made some little tweaks & put in my own spin & was very pleased with how it came out! I've been enjoying this for both breakfast & a snack!

  • 2 cups oats

  • 2 c flour (I combined almond & oat)

  • 3 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

  • cinnamon

  • dash of salt

  • 1/2 cup applesauce

  • ~1/4 c almond or coconut milk

  • 1/4 c coconut sugar or organic brown sugar (maple syrup should work as well)

  Berry Chia Jam:

  • 1 cup frozen berries (or fresh)

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (more if you like it sweeter)

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Line a baking dish with parchment paper

  3. Combine all of the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the applesauce & milk & mix until well combined.

  4. Lay 2/3 of the mixture flat into the baking dish.

  5. Add a layer of blueberry mixture.

  6. Top with the remaining oat mixture.

  7. Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top.

  8. Bake for about 20-25 mins.
